Insomnia can be caused by several factors, whether it’s because of habits, psychiatric conditions, biological conditions, or because of medical conditions.

It’s really important to identify what is really the cause of insomnia before taking medication or treatment.


The Medical Causes


Some Medical conditions could have a significant influence in triggering sleep difficulties, because its affect some of body parts functions resulting the problem to sleep.

There are many causes of insomnia that correlated to medical conditions or medical symptoms, some mild and omen others might be more serious,  In several cases, the medical conditions itself could be the cause of insomnia while in the other cases the symptoms of the medical condition are the cause of

Sinus allergies or respiratory problem


When someone experiencing sinus allergies, most likely the nose become swollen and clogged by sinus fluid, this will result in nasal congestion, consequently the respiratory system will be impaired. And the series of the above cause will lead to difficulties to sleep.

Stomach problem


Some Stomach problem such as constipations, bloating, diarrhea, gas or irritable bowel syndrome can be really an upsetting condition for someone, especially in sleeping time, sometimes this problem causes the uncomfortable condition such as waking up in the middle of sleep.

Hormonal Problem


The Hormone imbalance could be cause of insomnia, this will resulting the body's difficulties of sleeping, especially in women, the hormonal problem and the insomnia are worsens the menopause's symptoms.

Arthritis


The reason arthritis can be the cause of insomnia is that it will causes the bodies discomfort while sleep resulting sudden wake up in the middle of the night. People with arthritis don’t feel rested in the morning the morning because of frequent nighttime wakening.

Neurological conditions


The neurological conditions could trouble someone in sleeping, such condition like Parkinson’s disease will lead to the insomnia because the symptoms of insomnia disturb the sleeping process.

Pain


This is a pretty common condition when someone with back pain have trouble in sleep, the intense pain will cause someone suddenly wake up in the middle of sleeping.
